I’ve been fortunate to work with Visit Cardiff and Cardiff Council for more than a decade, capturing the city through a wide variety of commercial photography projects. Each time I pick up the camera for them, I’m reminded just how lucky I am to be trusted to showcase Cardiff at its very best.
Our latest project took me inside one of the city’s most iconic landmarks - Cardiff Castle. It’s always a privilege to photograph such a historic location, but this commission was made even more special by being granted access to areas of the castle that are not usually open to the public. Exploring hidden corners and capturing details most visitors never see was a genuine highlight, and it allowed us to create a set of images that really reflect the unique character of the site.
